Pigeon Springs is located right off HWY 168/266 between Big Pine and Gold Point, and just down the road from both Palmetto and Lida.
There isnt much left here, just the old stamp mill and a lone grave. However, if you follow the road back it will lead you past a bunch of little mines and structures, most of them dating to recent times.
The stamp mill can be seen from the highway and thats what brought Cat and I here. It barely earns a paragraph in our Nevada ghost town books so we were never actively looking for it, but its not like us to pass up something like this when we see it, so we stopped and did some exploring!
And its not like Cat to pass up a photo oportunity either!
This picture was taken behind the stamp mill looking west towards Palmetto.
